Training

Happy Christmas!

Well Christmas 2010 is almost upon us and with snow in abundance who knows it may even be a white Christmas – who knows?

For me on the other hand it has meant that I have been unable to undertake any walks for the past few weeks which has been frustrating as the cold has unfortunately provided with illness to boot!

However, we should now be looking forward – with the New Year looming – we already have plans – perhaps Scarfell Pike, much more of South Wales (Pembrokeshire) and North Wales to do – amongst others!! We are planning to train for another charity walk again but we have a busy year ahead personally so we shall see.

Firstly, if I promised to walk with you I sincerely apologise for my lack of keeping in touch, it is remiss of me – and promise to be in touch soon!

Thank you for all your walking suggestions – I have started some – and kept a list of others to visit but I just run out of time – so don’t think any suggestions ever go wasted!

I also appreciate comments on my site too, I try to research as much as can, but again time is my enemy 😦

I sincerely wish you a very happy Christmas time whatever you do my dear readers – your support by merely reading this blog, being my family with your support on my walks, helping the charities when we walked in Scotland, your kind words via tweets (if you follow me on Twitter) has meant the world to me and I cannot thank you all enough!!

Update!

Sorry I have been too long with an update on my walking site! It has been a been a busy personally for me since the last weekend in August. Hence no updates or walks. I have managed 2 short walks in the past two weeks which I will be blogging in the next few days, once I have been able to download my photos – all of which have been a bonus with all that is happening at the moment.

In other things, I can confirm that I raised £440 for the MS Society (my Just Giving Page!!) from the Scotland Walk which I would like to Thank everyone for their support for.

I am off for a short trip to Somerset soon and hopefully will be blogging a short walk there too! So please look out for more blogs soon.

Also it has been thought that training for a new challenge will be in the offing soon – Perhaps Scarfell Pike perhaps? Who knows – I am sure to update you!

Thanks everyone once again!!

Update Website for 2010

I have started my blog for 2010… with Wales – its onwards and upwards (quite literally in June!) everyone:-) Thanks for everyone’s massive support out there, and all my readers.

The route map is nearly complete for the west highland way, and debates are now taking place how much of the route to actually do. I thought it may be only part of the way – just ofver 50 miles or possibly more! (its under negotiation at the moment) and then Ben Nevis (or maybe the other way round)

But it maybe more considering all the training I have undertaken.

I have updated the blog with new links, as they are well worth the read – see my about page!

Thanks for everyones support!

This was not the end of my training!

So back from Snowdon and Wales, but this is not the end, I have Cornwall, Devon, Kidwelly (Carmthenshire), more Wales and lots of more of England to do.

So what does this mean, well hopefully, the sponsored walk can become longer! It would be good – not only to raise money but raise the personal targets a little – I am not always in the best of health – so I always so these as a challenge.

Readers – whoever you maybe you support me by reading my blog, I know you are out there on the web somewhere!
